Schondratal Radweg - From Geroda to Gräfendorf - Rhön
The start of the tour is in Geroda, where a still young Schondra flows. On the way to the estuary, we rarely pass villages and farmsteads. This offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the elements and listen to the sounds of nature - the lapping of the Schondra, the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the winds in the trees. #
So pack enough food in your touring backpack and enjoy the regional products of the Rhön during your rest.
If you want to extend your bike tour, you can switch to the Thulba cycle path in Geroda or to the Vom Main zur Rhön cycle path in Gräfendorf.
Safety information
The tourist paths of the Rhön are mostly used by other active people (hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers, horse riders, cross-country skiers, etc.).We ask all active nature sports enthusiasts to show consideration for one another. Of course, the same applies to nature - it is worth protecting. In the Rhön, nature sports should therefore only be practiced in daylight on designated paths and areas.
